Representatives from the University of Macerata and Marche Polytechnic University Visit Jiangnan University

On June 6th, Professor Francesca Spigarelli, Assistant to the President of the University of Macerata, Vice Dean of the Law School, and Director of the China Center, along with Professor Attilio Mucelli from Marche Polytechnic University (Università Politecnica delle Marche), visited the School of Business, Jiangnan University with their delegation. Professor Liu Yong, Vice Dean of the School, warmly welcomed the guests. Representatives from the International Economics and Trade Department, Organization Management Department, and the Student Affairs Office of the School also participated in the discussions with the Italian university representatives.

During the meeting, Ms. Wang Xiaoli from the International Economics and Trade Department of the School gave an overview of Jiangnan University and the School, including its international cooperation initiatives. Ms. Cao Mengran introduced the overseas exchange programs for students in the School. Professor Francesca Spigarelli gave an introduction of the University of Macerata and its programs, while Professor Attilio Mucelli presented information about Marche Polytechnic University. The two sides engaged in detailed discussions on research collaboration in fields such as applied economics and industrial economics. They reached a consensus on student exchanges and joint training programs, expressing hopes to further expand cooperation and exchange areas in the future to promote the development of our school's disciplines and enhance its level of internationalization.

After the meeting, the two sides took a group photo to commemorate the visit. Professor Francesca Spigarelli and her delegation also toured our institution's library and enjoyed the scenic beauty of the Lihu campus.
